Introduction

CDL2GO provides online CDL theory training, permit preparation resources, endorsement theory training, company training support, and related student services through CDL2GO.com and CDL2GO mobile access.

This Privacy Policy explains how CDL2GO handles information connected to website accounts, WordPress and LearnDash course access, H5P learning activities, course progress, certificates, support requests, website purchases, and mobile app usage.

For Mobile V1, the CDL2GO mobile app acts as a client for CDL2GO.com. Course purchases occur through the CDL2GO website, not through in-app purchase.

Information We Collect

CDL2GO collects information needed to create accounts, deliver training, support students, process website purchases, maintain course records, and operate the website and mobile app experience.

  • Name, email address, phone number, username, and contact details when provided.
  • Account login and authentication information used by the WordPress/LearnDash account system.
  • Course enrollment records, assigned courses, purchased courses, affiliate courses, company courses, or group training access.
  • Course progress, lesson activity, quiz activity, H5P learning activity where applicable, course completion data, and certificates.

  • Support requests, contact form messages, and related support communications.

  • Mobile app technical information needed for login, course access, troubleshooting, security, and app reliability.

Student Accounts

Student accounts may be created through the CDL2GO website, course purchase workflow, affiliate or company enrollment, group training setup, or support process.

Account information may be used to provide website authentication, mobile app access, course enrollment, certificates, student dashboard access, company/group administration, affiliate-supported learning, and support.

Course Progress and Training Records

CDL2GO uses LearnDash and related learning tools to provide course access and track training activity. Course records may include enrollment, lesson progress, topic progress, quiz activity, completion status, completion dates, and certificate eligibility.

Training records may be retained to support student access, course completion review, certificate access, affiliate or company training administration, support requests, reporting, business records, and legal or compliance-related needs.

H5P Learning Activities

Some CDL2GO training or preparation pages may include H5P learning activities, practice experiences, or interactive content. When a user interacts with H5P content, activity or completion information may be stored when needed for the learning experience, progress review, support, or account history.

H5P activity is part of the CDL2GO learning environment and should be treated as training-related account activity where it is connected to a logged-in user or tracked learning experience.

Purchases and Payments

CDL2GO course purchases are completed through the CDL2GO website checkout. The CDL2GO mobile app does not process in-app purchases for Mobile V1.

CDL2GO may receive order records such as purchaser name, email address, billing contact information, purchased product or course, transaction status, coupon or discount use, payment confirmation, and limited payment details supplied by the payment provider.

CDL2GO does not directly store full payment card numbers. Payment card information is processed by third-party payment services connected to the website checkout.

Certificates

Certificates may be generated after eligible course completion. Certificate records may include student name, course name, completion date, certificate identifier, and related course activity needed to verify the certificate.

Users should save any certificates they need before requesting account deletion. Account deletion or deactivation may limit future access to certificates through the website or mobile app.

Cookies and Sessions

The CDL2GO website uses cookies and session technologies to support login, course access, cart behavior, checkout functionality, security, support, preferences, analytics, and normal site operation.

Some cookies and sessions are required. Login, cart, checkout, and course access may not work correctly if required cookies are blocked or disabled.

Mobile App Usage

The CDL2GO mobile app may send standard technical information needed to operate the app and support user access. This may include device type, operating system, app version, IP address, session activity, login state, error logs, and similar technical details used for security, troubleshooting, and course delivery.

CDL2GO does not use the Mobile V1 app to process in-app course purchases. Purchases occur through CDL2GO.com.

CDL2GO does not intentionally collect precise GPS location, contacts, photos, microphone recordings, or camera data for normal CDL course access. If a future feature requests a device permission, that feature and this policy should be reviewed before release.

CDL2GO uses reasonable administrative, technical, and operational safeguards intended to protect account, course, support, and transaction information.

No website, mobile app, or online service can guarantee absolute security. Users should keep passwords private and contact CDL2GO if they believe their account has been accessed without permission.

Data Retention

CDL2GO retains information for as long as needed to provide services, support students, maintain training records, process transactions, resolve disputes, maintain security, complete accounting or tax obligations, support affiliate/company/group workflows, and meet legal, compliance, or business needs.

Some records may be retained after account deletion, including order records, payment records, completion records, certificate records, support records, security records, and records needed for legal, business, tax, accounting, audit, reporting, affiliate, company, or course-verification purposes.

Your Privacy Choices

Users may contact CDL2GO to request help with account access, correction of account information, certificate questions, privacy questions, or account deletion.
