Deleting the app does not delete your account

How To Request Account Deletion

To request deletion of a CDL2GO account, contact CDL2GO through https://cdl2go.com/contact/.

In your message, include the subject line “Account Deletion Request” and provide the email address connected to your CDL2GO account, your full name, whether you use CDL2GO through the website or mobile app, and whether the account is connected to an affiliate, employer, school, company, or group account.

CDL2GO may request additional information to verify account ownership before processing a deletion request. This protects student records and helps prevent unauthorized deletion.

What May Be Deleted

When a deletion request is approved, CDL2GO may delete, deactivate, or remove access to information that is no longer needed to provide services or maintain required records.

  • Account profile information where deletion is available.
  • Login access to the CDL2GO website or mobile app.
  • Optional profile details not needed for records retention.
  • App-related access records that are no longer needed.
  • Support records that are not required for business, legal, accounting, security, dispute-resolution, affiliate, company, or training-record purposes.

What May Be Retained

CDL2GO may retain limited records when needed for legal, compliance, tax, accounting, transaction, certificate, training-record, affiliate, company, security, support, or business reasons.

  • Website order and transaction records.
  • Payment confirmation records, refund history, and chargeback records.
  • Course enrollment records.
  • Course progress and completion records.
  • Certificate records.
  • Records connected to company, employer, school, affiliate, or group training access.
  • Support records needed to resolve disputes or document account history.
  • Security, fraud-prevention, abuse-prevention, or audit records.
  • Records required for tax, accounting, legal, compliance, reporting, or business purposes.

CDL2GO does not promise automatic deletion of every record because some records may need to be retained even after account access is removed.

Purchased Courses and Course Access

Account deletion may end access to purchased courses, assigned courses, affiliate-branded courses, company courses, group courses, and related student dashboard features.

Deleting an account does not automatically create a refund. Refund eligibility is handled separately under the CDL2GO Refund Policy at https://cdl2go.com/refund-returns/.

If you still need course access, certificates, or training history, contact CDL2GO before requesting deletion.

Certificates and Completion Records

If you completed a CDL2GO course, certificate records may be retained for business, support, reporting, affiliate, company, compliance, or course-verification reasons.

Before requesting account deletion, download or save any certificates you may need. After deletion or account deactivation, you may lose access to certificates through the CDL2GO website or mobile app.

CDL2GO may retain limited certificate or completion records even if account access is removed.

Company, Affiliate, and Group Accounts

Some CDL2GO users access training through an employer, company program, affiliate partner, school, training provider, or group account.

If your account is connected to one of those organizations, CDL2GO may need to review the request with the applicable account structure, training assignment, reporting need, administrative record, or business agreement before deletion can be completed.

Group, employer, affiliate, school, or company-related training records may be retained where needed for business, reporting, legal, accounting, training administration, support, or audit purposes.

Mobile App Accounts

The CDL2GO mobile app uses CDL2GO account access. Deleting the mobile app from a phone or tablet does not delete the CDL2GO account.

To request deletion of account information connected to mobile app use, submit an Account Deletion Request through the CDL2GO contact page and include the email address used to sign in.

Request Timing

CDL2GO normally reviews account deletion requests after receiving the request and verifying account ownership. Many requests can be reviewed within 30 days, but some requests may take longer if they involve purchase records, course completion records, certificate records, affiliate accounts, company/group access, legal obligations, or unresolved support issues.

CDL2GO will confirm when the request has been reviewed and completed where deletion is available.

Before You Request Deletion

Before submitting an account deletion request, consider whether you need to:

  • Download certificates.
  • Finish active coursework.
  • Save order confirmations.
  • Resolve support requests.
  • Ask about refund eligibility.
  • Confirm whether your employer, affiliate, school, or group account needs access records.

Deletion may affect course access, certificate access, mobile app access, and support history.
