What is Online ELDT?

Entry-Level Driver Training, or ELDT, consists of “classroom” theory and behind-the-wheel skills training. CDL2Go offers online ELDT theory and CDL practice tests approved by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). Opting for an online classroom will save you some gas and a few trips to your local brick-and-mortar driving school! From Class A and B, to the most common endorsements like hazardous materials, passenger, and school bus, we have certified ELDT courses built around the tests you’ll need to pass for your CDL.

How Does Online ELDT Work?

So, how does this process work? Well, that’s easy! After you’ve selected the course needed from the tabs above, the site will direct you to a secure checkout page. You will input your payment information and create your login credentials there. Once you’ve purchased your desired online ELDT course(s), CDL 2 Go will send an email to the email address you provided on the checkout page. This email will include your login details, allowing you to log in and start your theory training as soon as you’d like! Training with CDL2Go gives you the ability to study and learn anywhere you have internet capabilities. Accessing your training material is possible 24/7, barring any unforeseen circumstances (such as updates to our system), so you can get your training done any time of day.

CDL Practice Tests

Regardless of your course, each lesson in the curriculum contains a corresponding CDL practice test covering the material you need to know to pass your state exams. CDL 2 Go’s practice tests feature questions taken directly from FMCSA-mandated exams, meaning you won’t have to worry about any wording inconsistencies. Our online ELDT courses are designed to give drivers the best chance of succeeding. Check out our available courses, and get started on your success story today!

Go From Certified To Licensed!

After you finish your theory training and pass your final exam, you will complete an automatic submission form that is sent to the FMCSA through the Training Provider Registry (TPR). This submission will certify you as being proficient in all ELDT theory requirements. You will also receive a certificate of completion for your records or your employer if they request it.
